Farm Learning Lab Opportunity Identified

Dairyland State Academy (DSA) officials recently identified a farm in the Town of Maine as the future Farm Learning Laboratory for the Northcentral Technical College Dairy Science Associate Degree program.
DSA is currently in negotiations with the John and Susan Rakow farm. The farm’s close proximity to the NTC Wausau campus will be advantageous for students traveling between the two facilities.
”The farm will become a showcase for the future of agriculture in Marathon County,” said Dale Heise, President, DSA.
